This school is the ONLY reason we purchased a home in Ricardo. I can only speak for the middle school but this academic environment is PHENOMENAL! !! Dr. Flores, the principal is amazing!!!!! I wish I had time to name them all, but the school counselor, the bus drivers, the teachers, cafeteria staff, maintenance staff, nurse & administrative staff are second to none. I only wish the operatonal standard of excellence were available at the high school level. Academy High School @ SGISD recently acquired a new principal and so far she seems to be raising the overall standard. The test scores alone at RMS are reflecive of their fantastic educational opportunities & is an intricate cog in fabulous machine call RMS. We certainly are blessed to be apart!!! ♡♡♡
I had trouble with my oldest child who had difficulty staying in one school for a full year due to his adhd, k.I.s.d never bothered to work with my son but when we enrolled him to Ricardo elementary they quickly put a aide next to him and worked with his condition and he never had trouble again, I really APPRECIATE everything that school has done for him, thank you!
Great school. Great students. Awesome football team but they need better facilities. Our students need better sports facilities (track and football).
