I occasionally stay at this Best Western location whenever my family comes into town to visit and it is without a doubt one of the best hotels in Kingsville. It's in a quiet location despite its being next to the expressway, the rooms are always clean, and I've never had an unpleasant experience with the staff. While the pool is often closed for maintenance, the continental breakfast is always there.

Also, there's a funny smell in here but I don't recognize the scent.

I will have to sleep with the lights on so they don't crawl on me tonight!!!!! AWWWWWW

Only get a star at all because hotel refunded my last scheduled night. Moved out a day early as i did not want to spend another night with roaches crawling over nightstand, cabinets and walls. Used up a whole can of roach spray (fumes caused yet another issue, at least it cloaked the smell of mold everywhere) since after every spray blast, more of the critters seemed to come out. The room showed an attempt at updating (newer design carpet) but the overall condition was very icky. Chaiselongue was damp from mold, cracks in the grout in the vanity area provided habitat for bugs. Have no clue what the 5/5 star reviewers were seeing, maybe some alternative universe. On the plus side, always enjoy being able to park close to door and breakfast options were not too shabby, although it was served in essentially the front desk waiting area. I see other reviewers having similar experiences and the hotel management apologizing, but they would need to do some serious actions, not words before i ever would consider coming back

My wife and i were driving down the highway late at night when we got too sleepy to continue driving. I called the hotel, and the front desk woman was very helpful and got us a room for us and our dog. The room was pretty clean, so five stars on that. We forgot our toothpaste and I was able to get a small tube of toothpaste from the front desk, also free breakfast in the morning, so five stars on hospitality. The bed was comfy and Tony the dog enjoyed sleeping on the carpet next to the bed. I'll have to deduct a half star because the toilet paper they stock is super thin and scratchy and also deduct a half star because the air conditioner is so damn loud, that it drowns out the highway noise from the outside that bleeds through the poor sound isolation. When the air conditioner is off you still hear highway sounds (the room was facing the highway, I'm assuming the rooms on the other side of the property are quieter).

Well The room is spacious. It was also clean but I had roaches!

That killed it for me! I took a picture but this review site does not allow me to post it.

The one: That's for the front desk...

I did call the front desk and I was told that someone will be out tomorrow to assess the situation.

My husband and I were traveling with his cousin and we were all pretty tired so we decided on best western. We've been there before with no complaints. The rooms are always neat and clean and the front desk is always courteous. The beds are super comfy and the sheets are always clean. If we ever need a break from driving or are too tired we usually like to stay here. The price is reasonable too.
